"Fire Burns" is in

which means Nicki Minaj has just smashed the list because all of us know she has some other super huge hits. I love the song "Fire Burns" and it's strong and tough. Great job, Nicki.

Mastodon is one of the best progressive metal bands and they get in with "Oblivion" even though it was released near the end of the decade before. Great music and singing, love the lyrics, and those guys are good actors. It's amazing!

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, one of the world's best Pop artists, is in with the very entertaining and musical treat "Fashion Monster". I love the song and video. Thanks for giving us this wonderful gift!

Jessie J, Kendrick Lamar, SZA, and Anhayla get this going so let's see what happens...

                                                                                                   Watch out for Nicki Minaj

Anhayla is in with acoustic (version) of "If I Was"

Everybody should know who she is. This is a great song! Love her singing and guitar playing.

YouTube again is the place to find a lot of songs.

Anhayla - If I Was - (Acoustic Version)

Kendrick Lamar, SZA song "All The Stars"

My favorite songs of All Time. How much time is that? I don't know.

I love the song "All The Stars". The video is amazing and makes me feel great!

Kendrick Lamar, SZA - All The Stars

It's officially on my list of the decade's best songs. So it joins "Domino" by Jessie J

It's one of the most popular and best songs of the decade. Great job!

1/2 decade of Pop Music was going to be in 2015. That was going to be a list. Then I didn't get it done. 2/3's list, this must have something to do with the universe. Then 1/2 list had:  look up ... and mind readers are like that would have been easy to figure out. um yes, it should be, okay look up to see who got in first

Best of Rock and Pop 2019 "Icy" by Kim Petras

Best of Rock and Pop 2019 was "Icy" by Kim Petras

Kim Petras has Best Song Twice, her song
"Icy" is No. 1 on my 2019 Rock and Pop Songs Lists

I didn't know if this would happen during the time I published my songs lists here... one song at No. 1 on both lists for the year. The song "Icy" by Kim Petras is a great song. The last couple of days, before I decided that it was the best song of 2019, I was doing many, many comparisons near the top of the lists. Ashley O and Kim Petras held on for a tie at No. 1 of the rock songs list and there are two #1's the way I'm doing it. "Right Where I Belong" a rock list No. 1 was close to getting back into things in pop and was compared again for the 2019 pop songs list but I decided it was more of a rock song or closer to what I think are songs on that list. "Circles" by Post Malone also was close and I kept listening back and forth with Kim's songs and then "Fear Inoculum" by TOOL went past one of Petras' songs, "All I Do Is Cry". "Fear Inoculum", magnificent progressive rock/progressive metal, came into the final day of my listening/comparisons of songs tied with "Icy" but I felt "Icy" was a fraction better for best on the pop songs list, maybe it was the emotion or the singing, but "Fear Inoculum" had a lot of great elements as well. It came down to not very much but that's the way I like my lists, great songs in that tough top 5, Petras had three of those songs (4 songs in the top 10, 5 songs total on the list) and "Icy" at No. 1.
